Okay, Let me explain...
๐"15th August"
On the Independence Day, the flag is taken up from down by a rope and then the flag is hoisted. This is called 'Flag Hoisting'. (เคง्เคตเคाเคฐोเคนเคฃ)
On Independence Day, the Prime Minister of the country hoists the flag from the Red Fort because the Constitution of India was not implemented on Independence Day and the President have not taken office. So on this day, the Prime Minister gives his message to the people of India.
๐"26th January"
On Republic Day, the flag is already tied at the top and then hoisted by a rope. This is called flag unfurling. As the Indian Constitution came into force on this day, the President unfurls the flag at Rajpath.
I hope this info is useful and you will notice this in future too.
